Samsung launches Galaxy S5 and new smartwatches

Samsung has launched four new products - three smartwatches and its latest smartphone - in a single day as it steps up its war with rival Apple.

The South Korean company presented the new Galaxy S5, which is now waterproof, and its smartwatches Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit at a special event in London on Friday.

The watches are available for under £250 and strengthen Samsung's position in the wearable technology market
